Solid 25mm Phenolic Spa Insulation and Optional Spa Quilt

Most low cost spas come with little or no insulation, meaning BIG electricity bills, making them less desirable to use during the cold winter months, which as we all know, is the best time to use a Hot Tub.

Dr Hot Tub can upgrade your spa insulation making it more efficient allowing you to use it 365 days per year, but it will also make your ‘noisy Hot Tub’ quieter and therefore more relaxing.

We offer 2 types of spa insulation upgrades

1. Solid 25MM Phenolic Foam. This is applied to the inside of your spa cabinets, and in the recesses of the corner panels. This insulation system is known as ‘Heat Lock’ because like a thermos flask, it locks the heat inside the cabinet keeping your spa water hotter, for longer. It also recycles any heat radiated by the pumps running and of course the spa heater, again making your spa more efficient especially during the cold winter months where un-insulated spa’s, allow the heat to escape, costing a fortune to run.
2. Double Sided Reflective Spa quilt. This is also applied to the inside of the cabinet but over the Phenolic Foam (at an additional cost), increasing the thermal and heat retention qualities by up to 25%
